The post delete function may be a very boring one to fix, but one people can appreciate. Only people who are sexually aroused by spreadsheets care much for the ability to make charts of things.

Alright, let me begin by saying I have nothing against gay people unless they're out to rape and subsequently kill me. Now we've got that out of the way, let's get on subject. Guys in Distress 2, which is, as the name suggests, a board devoted to anime boys in distressful situations. To be more accurate, bondage. Why they added the number 2 is unknown to me, I searched for version one and couldn't find it. Anyway, there's nothing wrong with the level of activity the place has. Almost 4000 posts with over a hundred members.

What's wrong with the site, then? Well, if you're going to make a site about bondage, actually provide some of the good stuff? What's with all this non-nude stuff? How can one possibly get off of clothed anime boys (or girls, but there are significantly less of those.) I understand bondage can be kinky, but non-nude bondage is a joke.

Also, have a look at their rules.

Come on, just think about the people you're missing out on. I've said it before and I have said it again, you can't make your board too specific or else you will have very little hope for activity. A site just dedicated to bondage with the accent on anime boys will do better than just a board about tied up anime boys. Don't reject, but embrace. You may have some activity on your board, but it could always be more if you widen your view!

And that's the lesson of the day. Don't be overly specific with your board.

To Zeta, or not to Zeta...

Thank you, Phazon, for reminding me of this block of wood, eh, "blog" I've been trying to keep alive for the past few weeks. It really needs an update. Hence the new category. Allow me to explain what its use is going to be, and what you can expect from me.

As you might know, I do occasionally have a look at Zeta's "directory". This basically is a list of all Zetas that weren't converted from Invisions, thus a lot of them were created somewhere in a timeframe from now to about a year ago. There aren't that many successful boards, and it has its reasons. Most people seem to have unrealistic ideas of what Zetas can actually do, some think active members will just materialize in front of you if your board looks good enough, and some just have a stiffy for "power".

I will take you through these failed yet often humorous attempts at starting a vivid community and hope we will encounter enough material to fill a slapstick comedy with. If you can stand the oder of freshly baked Zeta-failures, that is!
